      The most visible element of the system is the brand, whose generic name for the entire Sector is 'Spanish Tourism Quality' covering all the tourist products that meet the required Quality levels stated in the Service Quality Standards, and ensure that they are continually improved in order to satisfy clients' demands.

      The characteristics of this Quality Brand are the following:

  • PRESTIGIOUS, because it shows the business commitment to achieve full client satisfaction by offering an excellent service.
  • DISTINGUISHING, because only those establishments that ensure minimum service levels can obtain it.
  • RELIABLE, because the processes used to assess the compliance or non compliance with the requirements demanded by the Standards are separate from the sector and have been designed in accordance with industry guidelines.
  • EXACTING, because the objective tests established in the Regulations and Standards have to be passed in order to obtain it.

      The image of the Spanish Tourism Quality Brand is already beginning to be recognized, to the extent that there are already 3,000 member establishments - out of all the sectors involved - 281 of whom are certified and have the respective Spanish Tourism Quality seal.

      Recognition, by both national consumers and operators and consumers of outbound markets is a prime objective, which is being worked upon and achieving positive results.
